Sumo to piękna i szlachetna sztuka walki. Pojedynki trwają od kilku do kilkunastu sekund. Są niesamowicie widowiskowe i często pełne zwrotów akcji, w których możemy zobaczyć triumf siły umysłu nad tą fizyczną. Moc sumo tkwi w ideałach, jakim hołdują członkowie Europejskiej Rodziny Sumo, bo to nie tylko dyscyplina, ale przede wszystkim sposób życia.

Zawody odbędą się w miejscowości Klucze w dniach 24 – 25 czerwca 2023 r. W sobotę, 24 czerwca zostaną rozegrane kategorie indywidualne kobiece: – 50 kg, – 55 kg, – 60 kg, – 65 kg, – 73 kg, – 80 kg, + 80 kg oraz męskie: – 70 kg, – 77 kg, – 85 kg, – 92 kg, – 100 kg, – 115 kg, + 115 kg. W niedzielę 25 czerwca zaś kategoria open kobiet i mężczyzn oraz turniej drużynowy. Walki odbędą się na tradycyjnym glinianym polu walki, które nazywa się dohyo. Udział w nich wezmę najlepsi, wyselekcjonowani na podstawie rankingu sportowcy z całego kontynentu.

Sumo is a beautiful and noble martial art. Duels last from a few to several seconds. They are incredibly spectacular and often full of twists and turns, in which we can see the triumph of the mental power over the physical one. The power of sumo lies in the ideals upheld by the members of the European Sumo Family, because it is not only a discipline, but above all a way of life.
